Known informally as "the hearth of Grand Avenue Club," the Culinary Unit is a very busy place. Working together, members and staff plan, shop for and prepare breakfast and lunch every day and dinner several times a week.
The daily salad/soup bar offers diners a healthy lunch, with the main entrée plus soup and salad always available.
Most diners voluntarily and periodically participate as part of the team that cleans up after meals.
The Culinary Unit's superb holiday menus draw many members to Grand Avenue Club on all the holidays. The unit is also known for its catering of Clubhouse events. Culinary also maintains our kitchen equipment and sells coffee, tea, cold drinks and nutritious snacks throughout the day.
