Education/Employment Unit

Colleagues who work in Grand Avenue Club's Education/Employment Unit (EEU) run successful and popular Employment and Supported Education Programs, whereby members go out into the community to work for pay.

They also assist members with attending school and navigating the educational system. This unit manages a lending library, publishes a quarterly newsletter, maintains our employment data base and help members to keep track of there earnings.

They run three work support groups for employed members and one support group for students, assist members to research educational and vocational opportunities in the community, scholarships and financial aid, arrange for tutoring and mentoring, and celebrate vocational and educational achievements.
