GAC offers its members several types of paid employment with quality employers in the community. All work takes place at the employer’s place of business and members are paid the prevailing wage. We have Group Placements, whereby members work in a group alongside a GAC staff member; Transitional Employment, which consists of job opportunities in a wide variety of settings at part-time jobs that last 6-9 months; and Independent or Competitive Employment, whereby members work independently but have access to all the rights of membership.
